Bizsafe

bizSAFE is aSingapore nationally recognised program to build employers and company capabilities. Bizsafe program is designed to help companies build workplace safety and health capabilities. The Bizsafe programme includes SGSecure elements to help companies to put in place measures to manage potential terror threats.

Though the structured 5 Step Bizsafe programme, company/ companies may apply for a level directly as long as it meets the level's requirements. Example Bizsafe Level 1 after the CEO or senior management have attended the Bizsafe CEO workshop. Or Bizsafe Level 2 after employees have attended the Risk Management course.

If you need help to kickstart workplace safety and health (WSH) in your company, you may consider applying for StartSAFE. Please note that this programme is on a first come, first served basis.

Bizsafe helps with meeting regulatory requirements such as Risk Management Regulations.

All workplaces must conduct risk assessments for all work activities and processes under WSH (Risk Management) Regulations. These risk assessments must be reviewed as and when the work activities change or every 3 years, by law.

bizSAFE Level 3 and above recognises that your company has put in place systems to manage workplace risks and complies with WSH (Risk Management) Regulations. To achieve this, you must engage an approved and independent auditor to assess the implementation of risk management in your workplace.

Certain tenders and certain clients would want vendors, suppliers or subcontractors to have a level of Bizsafe certification.

Bizsafe helps with branding and showing clients and the community that your company has achieved a certain level of professionalism and accreditation.
